“…the storytelling is so immensely consuming that I could not stop or halt. The writing too, is extremely evocative and the prose eloquent.”

THE DOUBLE

Now, this is MY kind of thriller!

The Double is a clever, complex and electrifying psychological thriller, with an extremely intriguing and multi-layered storyline, that kept me totally engrossed from cover to cover. It’s a case of a book that I couldn’t put down, but I also didn’t want it to end!

Ann Gosslin has created an exquisite slow-burner, packed with themes – namely identity, trauma, alienation, and the sense of self / the lack of it. I absolutely loved the sharp, elegant and wonderfully crafted prose, the atmosphere of this brilliant novel, the multi-dimensional, deep characters, and all the chess references! @elleestviolette

THE SHADOW BIRD

“The debut novel from Ann Gosslin really got under my skin. This is a captivating, emotional thriller that I couldn’t stop thinking about. It made me cry,  gave me hope and I couldn’t put down with all its twists and turns.”

There were so many secrets, so much hidden in The Shadow Bird that it was impossible to put the novel down. A fantastic examination of psychiatry, of what drives the human being to commit crime. It also examined the consequences of those involved, of the collateral damage. It was dark, and unsettling, but with chunks of light that provided that perfect balance.
A brilliant debut.

Blog Tour – THE DOUBLE

My second novel, THE DOUBLE (mystery/suspense), is out in the UK on Feb 16th, and I’m excited to announce …. drumroll … the upcoming Blog Tour taking place from February 17 – March 10, 2021.

Following a violent outburst at an awards ceremony, Vidor Kiraly, a prize-winning neuroscientist and Cambridge don, is sent to an isolated psychiatric clinic in the Swiss Alps. When the clinic’s director, Anton Gessen, tries in vain to unearth the missing pieces of Vidor’s life, he suspects his reluctant patient is not who he appears to be. After one of the patients at the clinic goes missing, Gessen has reason to doubt Vidor’s self-proclaimed innocence. But what’s he hiding, and who might be next?

Huge thanks and much appreciation to all the amazing Book Bloggers taking part.

Happy Reading!
