About

From an early age, even before I knew how to read and write, I’ve been fascinated by stories of all kinds — especially anything to do with foreign lands, the dizzying effects of cultural dislocation, and the tension that arises when two people from opposite sides of a seemingly impenetrable divide are forced to interact.

With a lifelong interest in psychology and psychiatry, I like to explore in my fiction the darker sides of human nature, the effects of the past on the present, the shifting nature of memory, and how family history shapes identity and the perception of self.

My debut novel, The Shadow Bird (psychological suspense), was published on 15 July 2020 by Legend Press.

My second novel, The Double (mystery/suspense), set at a remote psychiatric clinic in the Swiss Alps, was published on 16 February 2021
